This photo is stunning, the vibrant colours and excellent lighting enhance the beauty that is already there by a great amount.
I love the pose and the facial expression, the animal seems completely relaxed, and not on edge or stressed as I've seen in other zoos.
I also love how the background is out of focus. It makes the jaguar seem even more lifelike as the whole photo is given a sense of depth perception.
Overall I think this is an amazing and wonderful photo, I've added it to my favourites and I hope others do too ^^ Keep up the great work!

Vilken otrolig skärpa och kontrast du har i dina bilder! Och färgerna är så klara! Du måste väl fixa det lite i Photoshop va?
Otroligt duktig fotograf!

What I love about this shot s that the creature looks interested in the world around it, curious if you will. He/she could be just on the verge of hunkering down to stalk some prey out of camera range. An excellent capture.

I love the composion and the focus here, Pali. The way the jaguar looks into the camera is fantastic.
But I think the colours of the eyes a little too bright. Except that it's amazing!!!

Those eyes are amazing, and great use of bokeh and depth of field. I do have to say though that I prefer a more natural colour edit to the high saturation you used here. You can start to see colour distortion under the eye and cheek because of it, but that's personal taste :)

Those eyes are GORGEOUS, and the blurred background? Lovely.
We have native jaguars here in Brazil, just waiting to be photographed. xD If you wanna wade through the Amazonia, that is...

You're very welcome, Pali. :D

So would I. xD Just make sure you get the right vaccines. And have a guide. And...all the precautions. I hate the idea of you getting lost in that jungle. I mean, just at my school there are spiders the size of my hand. (And I live in the city, but there's a hill behind my school that's covered in forest.) Honestly, I wouldn't want to find out what could be lurking in the Amazon. o.O I hear there's such a spider as long as your arm. D: -dies-

Personally I've never done much hiking, just a little here and there...I can't really imagine how I'd do in one of those treacherous locales.

Indeed. But nature is amazing if you have an eye for it. I really wish I could go on a hike in the largest mountain in the area with someone who really appreciates nature. ):

Lots of crime, actually. My mom was once out getting some money from the bank with my grandfather and as she was leaving, some guys tapped against the window with a gun and demanded her purse. They also took her keys and they had to call a tow truck. But no one got hurt, so. I'm thankful.

As long as there's plumbing and internet, I don't mind we're I'm at.
