The picture was taken in a National park in northern parts of Sweden in late summer of 2010 With a Nikon D700 and a Nikon 400 mm lens F2,8
I like the posture and that the wolf is going on way and looking at me almost like he is posing but you can still see the movement of the wolf.....
All comments are much appreciated i love the hear what you have to say good or bad
If you like pictures of Wolves or lynx and other wildlife and have the time please visit my gallery and tell me what you think their is a good chance you find something you like
I could be wrong, but I think this may actually be a red wolf. (Feel free to delete my comments or whatever you feel necessary) Red wolves are rare, and highly endangered where I live, so this may actually be a good picture of one.
(Red wolves are theorized to be crosses between coyotes and wolves, which is probably why I was confused.)
noo your are free to your opinion i wont delete your comment... as i said before as far as i know the only wolves we have in Sweden are gray wolves i am no expert
[link] <-- It looks nothing like a wolf. This was the closest picture that I could find. It does, however, look like a coyote. Pictured here, with only smaller ears, and a different coat differing. --> [link]
This was really poor. You should apologize to Pali who knows subjects of his photos much better than you. All those comments you posted just prove you know only little about canines.
And yet I've been researching wolves for years, primarily the subspecies he is claiming them to be. Gray wolves are prominent where I live, and I have studied them closely.
so you do not even know the basic fact? gray wolf is name which covers ALL subspecies of wolves. Both arctic wolf and Eurasian wolf are GRAY wolves XD where did you study when you do not know even the basic fact? In a kindergarden? XD
i dont know what to say more that in Sweden we don't have coyotes and the pictures is taken in the wild, As i said before this wolf is very thin in posture
