Perfect example of when breaking the rules is good. Centering on her face runs you head on into those piercing eyes. You've captured her pent up muscular tension so well that the viewer is just waiting for her to pounce. Tremendous depth and focused details. Only a few minor negatives, the tip of her tail needs a bit more space. It seems there is dust or something in a few spots, notably the inside of her front left leg, nose, and right chest. Enjoyed her pointed posed from paw, and being able to see the pads on her right rear foot, made for interest. It's hard looking at this photo to see anything but those eyes. You almost have to force yourself to admire the rest of the picture.
I'm not a professional, but I've been doing this for many years and have taken some training. I love this photo. The lighting was absolutely perfect for a black subject. There are no odd and annoying light reflections which would take away from the subject. The way you captured him, the subtle lighting emphasizes the cats musculature. Because he is in motion, this stands out even more. You can actually see the ripling muscles in his chest and shoulders. This is phenomenal and I think leaves the viewer with a sense of awe at the obvious physical power that this animal has. I like also that he is looking at you and you were able to capture his look with clarity. Your depth of field is perfect, and the background colours make the animal really stand out as the star of the photo. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the white spot on his nose. I find that it is distracting. The viewer's eyes are naturally focused initially on the brightest spot in the photo. Is there any way this could have been photoshopped out? It looks to me that you have made little to no alterations on this photo, so perhaps this couldn't be viewed as "cheating". Something to consider anyways. Overall, I think this is one of the better pics I've seen of this magnificent animal. Great work!
