The Grey Wolf (Canis Lupus)
The picture was taken in a National park in northern parts of Sweden summer of 2009 With a Nikon D700s and a Nikon 70-200 mm lens F2,8 and a Nikon TC-17E II teleconverter.
This is a picture of the Dominant Female in the pack.
She circled me and stopped right between to big trees and the even sun just hit her amazing face and the eyes started to sparkle, you can almost feel the tension in her body it was so quit you could hear the wolf breathing... So amazing she stood only 10 meter from me.....
