I was going to write a really long comment on this one, but I thought it deserved a critique :)
I really love this. It's unique, and that's what's missing from a lot of wildlife shots these days.
Compositionally I think it works quite well. It's not often an angle from above works that well, but I really do think it works here. It gives the piece a curious and slightly playful air to it that really adds a whole new dimension to the subject. It's also really nice that you kept all the paws and ears in the shot, leaving that high contrast white to 'frame' the animal, which really helps it to stand out - i'm sure this would look better printed than on dA.
Colour wise it's also great. I love how the reds contrast with the whites, and it really draws your attention to those eyes, which are perfectly sharp and stand out so much.
I also love the depth of field you chose to use here. It's just enough to lose the focus on the body but still enough to keep the nose in focus.

Overall a really great shot. Nice and unusual. Nice job my friend!
